-- As a Supreme Court decision was leaked to Politico, in what was clearly a non-partisan leak, Governor Gavin Newsom of California has taken exception to this news. The first draft of the decision suggests that the high court intends on overturning the wrongly decided case of Roe v. Wade from 1973.
“It simply breaks my heart to think that there may end up being some states in our union where killing a baby may not be celebrated,” he said as he wiped tears from his eyes. “We must take charge on this issue and extend the abortion window in our state to go through the age of five, although we will fight for eight in the coming years.” Newsom then exited the stage tossing both deceased fetuses and Dodgers T-shirts to the crowd as the cheers poured in.
Newsom also announced that a string of government-funded daycare centers and preschools will now be named “The Harvest.”
Newsom said in a statement later in the day, “I am fairly certain the reason we don’t get a lot of rain here is because we aren’t sacrificing enough of these little ones to Moloch… Yeah… Yeah that’s probably what it is.”
