-- The effects of the current pandemic have changed the way millions are living their lives. For most, it means staying inside for a large portion of the day. This has meant an influx of business for a popular car window tint shop, Tint For Dayz.
Tint For Dayz shop owner, Martin Garcia said, “I knew we'd be able to help people 'cause it’s hot right now and people are sleeping in till like two. Basically they all want something to keep the sun from coming in and waking them up.”
When the shop pivoted from car windows to house windows, the shop workers were ready for anything. A shop employee told us, “We’ve been doing a lot of the limo tint on most of the houses. You should see it, you can’t even see outside with that one.”
One customer said, “I didn’t go outside for five days. When I finally did, I messed up my retinas ‘cause I wasn’t used to the brightness.”
When asked about the darkness the tint causes in the house, another customer said, “Think cave, but also think sensory deprivation tank and multiply that by 100.”
