Postgame: Joe Kelly Leaves Dead Horse In Car Of Alex Bregman

by Kyle Robinson

-- Following the conclusion of the Wednesday night game between the Dodgers and Astros, LA pitcher Joe Kelly felt that his message was not clearly sent the previous night. During game one of the two-game series, Joe Kelly seemed to have thrown intentionally at Bergman and possibly Correa as retaliation for a cheating scandal before exchanging words with a heated Astro’s bench.

The following night Alex Bregman was walking to his car to see the back window smashed and what looked like horse legs hanging out.

“A bloody horse corpse was in my car with a note,” said a visibly shaken Bregman. “There was a huge misunderstanding, we really thought we would get away with this scandal, but this is too far of a response, I would rather just be hit in the head.”

The note read “Seven Days - Joe Kelly 😉”

Our field reporter was able to catch up with Kelly after the game.

“Yeah I did it! And I have a bomb scare planned for next week too that should really get the blood running.” Kelly made it clear this would not be the end. “I saw the license plate ‘DUCHBG’ and knew it was Bregman’s.”

Bregman, having never had to solve an off-field problem without the help of his parents, has elected to just buy a new car.
