SF Giants To Retire Correa’s Number (TBD) Alongside Judge

by Kyle Robinson

-- It appears to be quite the opening day for the Bay Area’s famed historic franchise as they will again be honoring one of the franchise greats in Carlos Correa. The still young shortstop was instrumental in the success of the franchise during his tenure. Correa is a 2017 World Series champion (not with the Giants).

Giants owner Larry Baer tearfully discussed his emotions on the matter: “This young player, alongside Judge, has become like a son to me during his 16 hours he spent with our organization.”

Baer was then informed that this 16 hours is not even longer than the bender he finds himself in the middle of 3 times a month, to which he had no comment.

One thing is for certain, the San Francisco Giants have a knack for spotting and acquiring the talent that produces results. “We currently have plans to sign AND trade away at least two more stars before opening day. Our goal is to expand our opening day ceremony and build up the NL East for an exciting season!”
