-- May 4th is a day that Star Wars fans from all over wait 364 days to have their fun with. You’ll see the “May the force, May the 4th” wordplay all over social media as fans across the world squeeze every last drop out of it. For some fans, however, the day is not as exciting as they would like it to be.

Saying “May the 4th be with you” is a struggle for those that have lisps. “I get together with my fan club on the 4th and I’ve always felt like my fellow members think I’m a fake fan because I don’t return the greeting when I see them,” said a cloaked Star Wars fan.

One fan with a lisp who was kind enough to invite us down to his mom’s basement said, “I know a lot of us lisp-havers are hesitant to say it out loud, but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to have tremendous amounts of fun with it on the twittersphere.”

“It sucks ‘cause no matter which phrase I say, it sounds like I have a lisp,” said another fan who made us address him as Lord Plexus. “And when you think about it, there's a lot of other words in the Star Wars universe that are hard to say. Like, try saying lightsaber or Ahsoka or Darth Sidious. It's a real problem here.”
